How do you heal your inner child?

Healing your inner child involves acknowledging and understanding the emotional wounds from your past, offering self-compassion, and practicing self care. It's a process of self-discovery and learning to meet the needs of your younger self in a loving and supportive way. Be aware of behaviors and emotions that might indicate your inner child is triggered, such as emotional outbursts, relationship problems, or feelings of abandonment. Pay attention to situations or people that seem to bring out certain feelings or behaviors that feel like your inner child is reacting. Offer yourself compassion. Speak to yourself with kindness and understanding, just as you would a close friend. Practice self-soothing techniques. Engage in activities that help you feel calm and safe, such as meditation, journaling, or spending time in nature. Create a safe environment: Surround yourself with things that make you feel comfortable and secure. Write about your experiences, feelings, and needs as a child. You can write from the perspective of your inner child or offer comfort and support from the perspective of your adult self. Be patient with yourself. Healing your inner child is a journey, not a destination. BATEMAN MILLER wasted the first half of his life by graduating in Business from Exeter in the U.K. before becoming a soulless Investment Banker in London, Hongkong and Austraila with such luminous soulless blue-chip companies as KPMG and the Hong Kong Shanghai Bank. He quit that rather meaningless profession to become a filmmaker in Hollywood having been the first Englishman to be awarded a full scholarship in Producing & Screenwriting at the Australian Film School in Sydney. Clawing his way to the top of the entertainment heap in Los Angeles, he was represented at William Morris and the Creative Artist Agency selling a number of major scripts to Paramount, Sony, & 20th Century Fox, before being appointed Senior Vice President of Fiction for the BBC in TV Drama & Comedy.
"PLEASE STOP TELLING ME IT'S NOT A GENOCIDE" is his first show as a Contemporary Installation Artist / Fashionista inspired by his "quaint" moral belief that disturbingly misguided Empires and their "flock" should not be blowing up innocent Women & Children in the pursuit of Money, Power or Biblical real-estate deals.

I also invite you to join me every Wednesday morning from 10-11 am as I share my mediation and yoga practice with the community. This is a safe space where all are welcome. No experience is required. For the month of May, the focus will be on the throat chakra, which is the fifth energy center associated with communication, self expression, and speaking your truth. It is located in the throat area, and is believed to influence the ability to express oneself clearly and honestly. A blocked throat chakra can manifest as difficulty expressing oneself, shyness, or difficulty speaking one's truth. It's not just about speaking, but also about the importance of listening and understanding. An overactive throat chakra can lead to being overly critical, impulsive, or having difficulty listening to others. Potential physical issues linked to a blocked or imbalanced throat chakra include a sore throat, hoarseness, thyroid problems, and neck pain. Come with an open heart and mind, and feel your body unwind through meditation, yoga, and a sound bath to realign your chakras, so you can operate at optimum levels.
