What do you believe?

See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil...

Do you believe what you see?

I would like to think that most of us believe in our ability to believe in what we see. But sometimes, looks can be deceiving. Even when we receive messages, we tend to see what we want and project our feelings onto those words. And depending on where we are standing, our perception of a situation changes by our position. I love the scene in BBC's Sherlock which shows an accurate account of 'what really happened' based on the eye of the beholder and their point of view. Just imagine a circle, of 360 degrees. depending on where you are situated, you are going to witness an event in a different way. This is the beauty of perspective and seeing things from others' point of view. This is also why eye witnesses have differences.

Do you believe what you hear?

We also tend to hear what we want to hear. There is that whole thing of 'selective hearing' that takes place during conversations or quarrels depending on what we may or may not want to hear. This is why it is important when having these interactions that you want to make sure you are clearly communicating, but then asking the other person to reflect what they've heard to make sure your message was clear to them to avoid having a conflict later. This is also where compassion and courage kick in to deliver the message in the best possible way.

Do you believe what you say?

It's not what you say, it's how you say it. But are you meaning what you say? Sometimes our words can be confusing and lack clarity. Being a pisces, I can account for my ambiguous words and how they can be taken out of context. But are you saying things you don't really mean? If so, it's time to take a good look at your words and the conversations that you have been having. Your words have meaning, and power, so mean what you say. Also, it's important to use your words and not the words of others when communicating with others. Sure, it's great to get advice on what to say and how to say it, but if they don't come from you, it won't be authentic.

What do I believe?

I believe that we are all divine human beings and are all gods and goddesses here on earth. We have been given gifts at birth that no one else on this planet possesses and that is our superpower, to be our authentic selves and help others. And when we know who we are, we can step into our light and shine bright for the world to see. We get to create every moment of our lives and can change our minds at any time. I believe that we are spiritual beings having a human experience and when our bodies die, our soul lives on to inhabit another vessel to continue the journey of life and the lessons that come with it. How do I know this? I see it every day. I hear it all the time. I speak things into fruition. And I feel it in my soul. Need help discovering your truth? Schedule a session with me.
