The Art of Style is an inclusive environment that helps people discover themselves through timeless fashion. This boutique caters to men and women who have an appreciation for style therefore reflecting a well-lived life. They use clothing and accessories to express themselves that describes their unique lifestyle. 

TAOS was located in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. In the summer of 2020, it was destroyed in the riots. They stole 90% of everything I owned. After time and space and much healing, I let go of my store after a decade. I was on the brink of building my empire by opening a kids and body store (think athleisurewear, loungewear, sleepwear, intimates), but decided to pursue my other passions of speaking, writing, and traveling the world and guiding others along the way.

I had been working on the franchise years before this traumatic event, but decided I was a control freak, so I decided to do it myself. Prior to the riots, I was also working on opening a store in Washington D.C. After the destruction, I changed my mind and decided to leave my legacy to others who felt called to continue my mission of helping people find themselves through fashion.

I bring over 25 years of experience to this venture, with expertise that combines customer relations/service, merchandising, marketing, purchasing, operations, as well as human resources. This science is the balance of these. The Art of Style is where it all comes together. TAOS is a Limited Liability Corporation.
