Announcing the Grand Reopening of TAOS...

We can all use this energy

Once a year, Jupiter and the Sun conjunct in the sky. It is also the day that the stars are aligned more beautifully than any other day, in all of 2024. Luck, miracles, blessings, breakthroughs and happy news could all be yours now. The best part about it? All zodiac signs can use this energy. When these rare moments happen, we should take advantage of the energy at play, and use it to the best of our abilities. The Sun rules confidence and “can-do” energy. Jupiter is about luck, risk taking and adventure. So what are your plans for the day? I bet more miracles would happen outside of your home, but who knows? If you co-create with this energy, you can use it to your benefit. Take the road less traveled, do something spontaneous, enjoy your life and be grateful for all the luck you've been given thus far. Then go out and make wishes and be open to all the opportunities that life will bring to you today. That is why I am going to quickly write this and get out of the house myself today...

Announcing the Gran Reopening of The Art of Style

I am honored and humbled to invite each and every one of you to the Grand Reopening of The Art of Style. Exactly four years to the date, I will be reopening my doors to the world (now in another country). It has been an interesting ride, nonetheless, and I cannot wait to share it all with you. Even though this concept is an evolution of what was (an art gallery, a clothing store, a meeting place, therapy session), it has transformed into my Design Studio and TAOS Lounge at night. Now that I am designing, so many ideas are coming, so as they do, I will offer them to you. At the moment, I have seven prototypes to share with you and now that I have been asked to design uniforms for The Tornabuoni Hotel, I have an entirely new collection to produce, among the others I have designed. Another service I am delighted to continue to extend to you is The Style Registry. Yes, it still exists and is available whether you are in person or not, as everything will be made especially for you, to support my zero waste philosophy. There will also be a limited quantity available, to keep you looking and feeling special whenever you wear TAOS. Brace yourself for compliments. At night The Art of Style it will transform into a private space, for society members only, where you can sit back, have a glass of water or wine, read a book, shop, talk, laugh, cry, kiss, confess, dance, etc. It is also an inclusive safe place where I will host Intimate Conversations with Lady Kendra every Monday night from 7-10pm, along with Mindfulness and Movement every Wednesday morning from 9-11am, both for a donation to The Substitute Society. You should also know that with each purchase, a portion of the proceeds will continue to go to the fight against cancer and mental health. It is advised to request an appointment/make a reservation to ensure that it is open, as I will not always be accessible. Of course when I am there, all are welcome, without judgment. There will also be the monthly first Friday Gallery Showcase open to the public, celebrating the local artist of the month from 7-10pm as well. And of course the space will transform on a regular basis with more events that lead up to the annual TAOS Fashion Show, to be held on Sunday, November 10th from 7-10pm. Otherwise known as The Substitute Space, it will also be a place to learn more about The Substitute and all of its benefits. Intimate Conversations with Lady Kendra
