Hope is not blind optimism.

Hope is not blind optimism.

Hope is not blind optimism.

It's being able to see the light despite all the darkness...

Why is hope important?
I know sometimes it can be hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but having hope that a better day will come is paramount to our well being. Knowing that change is the only constant in this life, we must at least see that whatever we may be going through right now is only temporary. That also means that when things settle down, other things may get stirred up somewhere else. It is important to be aware of what is happening in your life, but always keep your eye on the prize. Envision the life that you want. Visualize the best possible outcome of your situation, not the lowest point of where you don't want to be. We tend to gravitate towards the negative side of things imagining the worst possible outcome, but generally, we create these ideas in our heads of things that will never actually occur. Even though being hopeful sometimes may seem unrealistic, we can get excited about what possibilities our future may hold, and use that motivation to take action, to get to a more hopeful place.
Don't lose hope
If you or someone you know needs to recover some hope in your life, consider hiring me as your life coach. Together we can work through why you are feeling this way and how to get you to the other side of having hope once again. I help people cultivate a more positive mindset and create goals and break them down into steps to achieve the life they've always dreamed of, regardless of what is happening in their lives. It is never too late, you are never too old, you are never at a dead end that you can't make a u-turn to get out of. There will always be hope available to you to dream up a new adventure/feeling/landscape to change your perspective so that you can begin to chart a new path along this journey called life. And a hopeful disposition usually makes us feel happier, too. :)
THE SUBSTITUTE

As long as you're still breathing, you're able to conjure up some hope within. If you're having a hard time doing this, take three breaths. Inhale really deeply, as long as you can, then blow all the air in your lungs out. Doing this will help oxygenate your blood and rejuvenate your system to give you the energy your need to think clearly and come up with some hopeful ideas (instead of thinking negatively). One way to help you do this on a regular basis is to use THE SUBSTITUTE. It is a healthy alternative to smoking/eating that helps reduce stress and anxiety. It gives you hope that you CAN quit smoking, you CAN quit over indulging, you CAN think through this, you CAN get yourself out of this situation, you CAN look younger, you CAN feel better, you CAN have whatever you want in this life. Try one for only $20, get one for a friend, and get free international shipping. Just use THE SUBSTITUTE. JUST BREATHE.
