It's World Gratitude Day

aka International Peace Day

How can you express more gratitude in your day to day life?

If you're having a hard time identifying some ways to express your gratitude, here are some really simple things you can do: 1. say the words! (thank you goes a long way). 2. write a letter or note (everyone loves a thank you card!). 3. express your thanks creatively (it's the thought that counts). 4. give a gift (opt for meaning over monetary value). 5. express your appreciation face to face (even a video counts!). 6. ask how they are (and listen to their response!). 7. make a gratitude journal/scrapbook (putting it on paper makes it real- whether it is for yourself or others). There is a wealth of evidence reflecting on the benefits we derive from expressing gratitude and appreciation; such expressions evoke an array of psychological, social, and physical benefits that promote our psychological, social and physiological health. Today is the one day of the year where you can start to make a concerted effort to express your gratitude. Try it and see how it makes you feel. You'll notice that not only are you brightening someone else's day, but your vibration will rise even higher with the more gratitude you give.

Thank you!

On this day, I just wanted to say 'thank you' to each and every one of you for being you, putting in the work, and striving to be the best you, that you can be. Thank you for being silly, thank you for being real, thank you for being honest, thank you for being transparent, thank you for expressing your feelings, thank you for being genuine and sincere, and thank you for not comparing yourself to anyone else. The biggest thanks we can give back to the world is by being our authentic selves and sharing our gifts with others as we journey through life. If you or someone you know needs help expressing themselves in a healthy manner, please let me know. We can work together to overcome any obstacles you may have with communication or expressing your emotions healthily.

THE SUBSTITUTE

I am so grateful that I got pneumonia after I turned 40, cause that experience led to the development of THE SUBSTITUTE, my cure to cancer. To try to curb my social smoking habits, I created THE SUBSTITUTE to use instead of smoking to calm my nerves, relax my body and mind, and to ease any anxious moments that would come up. Now, more than four years later, I have helped tons of people quit smoking (or least smoke less), in addition to reducing stress, depression, and anxiety, along with a plethora of other benefits, all natural, all positive. Try it for only $20, and you can thank me later. But you can show appreciation today by thanking yourself for this wonderful gift that will enhance your life and the lives of others. No tobacco. No toxins. Simply air. Use it anywhere. JUST BREATHE.
