It's World Peace Day

Let's give peace a chance...

What can you do to find inner peace?

World Peace Day encourages us to be kind to others and teach others to be peaceful. Even though we are at war 97% of the time, we can make it a point to practice peace within ourselves. There are several things that you can do to achieve more peace in your life, it just takes a little effort and practice. I have been searching for peace for many years now, and over the last year or two, I think I found it. Here are some tools that can help you achieve more peace in your life. The first one is to meditate. Sit in silence and close your eyes. Start with one minute, then five, then increase it to twenty, eventually. You'd be surprised with what comes up when you just calm down. Practice breathwork. The only way to calm down the nervous system is to breathe. Take a walk in nature. It has a way of immediately calming you down no matter what is going on. Be kind to the world around you (and yourself). It feels good, try it! Another thing that feels great is laughter. Laugh as much as you can, you'll find it is one of the best remedies to any situation. Express yourself. We are all creators, and we create our own reality. Whether it's through writing or painting, making music, cooking, or dancing, find a way to get out of your head and create something special to you. Practice mindfulness, aka be present. Pay attention to what you're doing, what you're thinking about, what you're eating, etc. Most of us spin the stories of our past or freak out about the future. All we have is right now, so make the most of it. Lastly, take a break from social media and stop comparing yourself to others. You are the only you that exists in the world. Find yourself and find peace, then spread that around.

Peace out
It's important to take time for yourself. In this hectic world where we have so many responsibilities, we must find the time to disconnect and nurture our own needs. A wonderful way to give back to yourself is scheduling time for self care. This can come in many forms, but to have the ultimate peace within, you must do the inner work. Make time in your busy schedule to reflect and work on yourself. If you need help doing the work, I can guide you along the journey. We can set up weekly, biweekly, monthly, or quarterly video calls to check in on your progress, to make sure that you are living your life to the fullest. Mental and emotional health is just as important as physical health, so make the time for your sanity. Consider coming to Florence, Italy on a Transformative Experience. These three days will transform your mind, body, and soul into a new way of being. By taking the time to invest in yourself, you can cultivate your life from a peaceful place, no matter what life throws at you. It is necessary to remove yourself from the day to day cycles of life every so often. But if you want to learn how to live a life full of peace on a regular basis, let me show you the secrets and help you release what no longer serves you, so you can create the life of your dreams. You do deserve that which you desire, and it is a lot easier to get it when you remove obstacles that have been holding you back your whole life. By coming to terms with your past, you can peacefully be in the present moment which allows you to create your magnificent future from a place of clarity. Now providing individual Transformative Experiences. Pick your dates and message me to schedule your interview.
Peace of mind
It helps to know that you have someone who you can always talk to about anything. I cannot tell you how many times I have heard from my clients that 'I've never told this to anyone, but I feel comfortable sharing this with you.' Just getting it out of your mouth releases energy from within. And once you let it out of you, it no longer lives there. With me you will find a nonjudgemental safe space to share your secrets, desires, and fears. We can discuss anything that is keeping you from having a peaceful way of being and work through any issues that have been distracting you from living the life of your dreams. It is never too late or too early to start. Let me give you peace of mind that everything will be alright and that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to. In our jigsaw puzzle world, it soon becomes obvious that through each person who puts themselves first and helps others do the same, society will change. This is Buddhism's blueprint for world peace. The only way for people to live together in peace is for many people to awaken to the need for an inner revolution. For one happy person's influence on their environment will have a profound and lasting effect. Together we can change the world and who knows, maybe find world peace. What if this was the way to save the world after all...?
The Substitute creates peace within
I had someone refer to this as 'Kendra's confidence stick' not too long ago. I like that. And it's true. The Substitute is something that you can hold in your hands, orchestrate the clouds, point, and twirl around with whenever and wherever. It's also been referred to as an adult pacifier, which, I'm not as much a fan of, but that is true too. Think about it, when we were babies, we were shoved a pacifier into our mouths to pacify us when we were cranky, hungry, or tired. The difference (besides being aesthetically pleasing and smooth) is that it allows the user to put it in between their lips and inhale. As I mentioned earlier, the only way to calm down the nervous system is to breathe, and this is a tool that helps you do just that. If you take the time to think about it, I bet you'll discover that you're holding your breath a lot more than you realized. And because this has no tobacco and no toxins, it is 100% safe and only elicits positive side effects. The breath does heal us from the inside out, we just need to remember to exhale. The Substitute is a psychological/physiological tool to use instead or smoking/eating that reduces stress and anxiety and can be used anywhere- planes, trains, restaurants, bars, church, work, wherever. Just breahte.
